Swags Vs Tent

In camping, a tent is considered as the essential camping equipment and shelter to all movements at the campsite. But swags have outsmarted them with better features that push you a little to choose it over a tent. Swags, nowadays are fond of high-quality canvas and better privacy that have urged campers to get it for their next camping adventure.

From flexibility to warm canvas quality, check out a few things that may make you choose a swag over a tent.

Swags Are Easier To Set Up: Swags are more comfortable to set up. Not that hard like a tent to find the right place around the campsite and to dig deeper to base poles. If you have got swag with easy assembly, you need to set it up and climb in. Similar is pack up, just roll up and off to home.
No Need of Mattress: The primary thing about a swag is that it includes a mattress, so you don’t need to spend extra for sleeping. If you go with a tent, then you’ll have to buy a mattress or an air bed separately because you are not going to sleep on a hard floor. A swag saves you a few extra bucks and also provides a relaxing sleeping experience with its foam mattress.

Warmer Than Tents: If you’re camping at a frozen place or in winter, you must consider a swag. The reason that swags are warmer than tents is that they’re designed with heavy material and high canvas quality. Also, a mattress included is good at dealing with heat retention, so you feel a more refreshing sleeping surface. Whereas for tent, you buy an air mattress, which isn’t that good at heat retention.

Durable than tents: Swags are made of high-quality canvas that ensures long lifespan than of a tent. They are designed in a way that endures harsh weather conditions. Also, they are well-built to be carried on the back of your vehicle and the roof of your car.

Better Ventilation: If you’re purchasing a tent considering summery weather then you might be overlooking swag’s considerable feature. During summer, you can leverage swag’s window or mesh door for higher ventilation. So, it makes excellent even during summer that swag is better than a tent in terms of ventilation.
Flexibility: Flexibility is another reason most people choose a swag instead of a tent. You can unroll and set it up even if it’s a narrow space around your campsite.

No Pegs: Even though some swags come with pegs, you don’t need them to help you set up the dome at all. In case of the extreme windy atmosphere, you can use them to keep your swag stand strong; otherwise, most of all designs are capable of holding the balance away.
